The annual dinner was again held at the Centennial Hotel this year. Unfortunately we were unable to secure the Barts Room which resulted in us being in the general dining area. It was great to see our friends from the south join us; Tony and Elaine Gray and Will Deal and his daughter Rachel. It was also nice to see some of the spouses who don’t often get to the field – Tanya Pearson, Tracey Cameron, Dearne Klimeck, Pat Jacobs and Geoff’s friend Margie. Trophies were also reintroduced for those that participated in various events during the year. Club Champion went to Greg R, 2nd Kevin H, 3rd Terry P, 4th George C, 5th Chris K and 6th Dave J. Congratulations to all. And if Dave J can be on the podium at 80yo and with one eye then some of the younger fellows should give it a go. In addition there were plenty of door prizes going around.
